Day 88: Harburg Castle...Germany

Harburg Castle, about an hour outside Munich was recommended to us. We had the day before we had to drop the car off and get to the airport to fly to Barcelona so we decided we would take our final drive out and have a look. The town was quaint, small and the castle different to others we had seen....and we had seen many. Decided to join the tour of the castle and it was interesting. Looked like it was still in the Middle Ages and the church was very old. The guide delivered the tour in German, but was able to communicate a lot of info to us in English, which was really helpful. After the tour we strolled around for a while and drove into the old town and had a coffee from a little shop run by a dear old lady who also did miniature painting. She explained that she had even been on TV twice and there was a very old article from the newspaper on display. God love her she was so cute....also tried her homemade cake....very good.
Drove for the last time to the drop off depot and left the car... 12,000kms later. Bit sad not to have it anymore.
